Today, Neosys cleaned solar panels in La Hulpe that were heavily covered with lichens. This type of biological fouling can reduce the efficiency of photovoltaic systems by limiting the amount of light that reaches the cells.

During this first phase, our team used a drone to spray an environmentally friendly solution specifically designed to thoroughly remove the lichens.

As you can already see in the photo, the lichens are beginning to change color and turn brownish: this is a sign that the treatment is gradually taking effect.

In about a month, we’ll return to perform the final cleaning with hot osmosis water to remove any remaining residue and complete the repairs to the solar panels.
